Planning Information
The planning permission originally granted (see plans attached) relates to the permission when the house was refurbished initially around 1985 which included the development of the attached barn. The planning provides for an extension to the south of c1800 sq ft over 2 levels. We commenced works on this in 2016 before deciding we may look to move instead due to a change in circumstances (we had elderly relatives due to move in with us but one passed away). In 2016 we sought advice on this prior to initial commencement and were told that the planning permssion from 1985 was current as a proportion of the works were completed in the original refurbishment in 1985. It may be advisable for any potential buyers to verify that this permission is still current today.
