4 Making an offer

  • You've found your dream home - great news! We will put forward your offer to the vendor and with you to secure your purchase

5 Legalities

  • If you need help finding a solicitor, at Keenans we can source quotes from trusted firms to make your decision easier

6 Progressing through your purchase

  • At this stage your purchase will be looked after by our dedicated sales progression team
  • We'll keep you updated during every stage of this process

7 Survey and mortgage offer

  • Your mortgager lender will carry out a survey on the property and advise on the value - if satisfactory, a formal offer is sent to you and your solicitor

8 Exchanging contracts

  • The exchange happens after searches are received, enquiries answered, mortgages in place and any preliminary work completed
  • Once you have exchanged, you have committed to the sale and a completion date will be agreed.

9 Completion

  • The balanced is transferred to the vendor's solicitor's account - you will be contacted when the money is cleared so we can release the keys to your new home

5 Receiving and agreeing an offer

6 Sales progression and exchanging contracts

  • Once all searches have been completed, contracts will be exchanged - a legally binding document committing to the sale
  • The sales progression team will keep you informed at every step

7 Completion

  • A completion date is agreed through solicitors, yourselves and the purchasers
  • Upon completion the outstanding balance is transferred into your solicitors account
  • Once all monies have reached your bank account you will be advised of completion and keys are exchanged
